Purpose. The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a weekly hatha yoga intervention on percieved stress and quality of life (QOL) in patients in phase 0 cardiac rehabilitation (CR)
Methods. Auasi-experimental design was used. Forty patients participated in the hatha yoga intervention in addition to the standard CR program and 40 patients participated in the standard CR Program. Perceived stress scale. QOL was measure using the Darmouth CO-OP assessment tool (CO-OP)
Conclusion.
Yoga can be beneficial as an addition to conventional rehabilitation of cardiac patients.
